This declaration is intended for the customers/suppliers of Merlin Vet Export Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Merlin Vet). This statement will further discuss the way in which Merlin Vet handles the personal details you provide. A “personal data” says something or could say something about a natural person. Examples of personal data include; e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, mail addresses etc.

Merlin Vet draws attention to the fact that the personal information you provide to us is collected and used because it is necessary to conclude and execute any agreement/transaction with you. This applies both to our potential customers and to parties with whom we purchase goods/services.

Without this information it would be impossible to send you a quotation, to be able to determine to which specifications or wishes a certain service should comply, to perform work, to invoice, to pay and to be able to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about the implementation aspects of the agreement.

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal information. If you provide us with incorrect or insufficient personal data, it is possible we can not perform the aforementioned activities.

Transfer to third parties

In connection with the execution of the agreement it is possible that we must provide your personal data to parties in our assignment to carry out work. We also use external server space for the storage of our sales and purchasing administration, which includes your personal data. Your personal data is therefore provided to our server room provider. Furthermore, we occasionally use a newsletter mailing service, so your personal data will be passed onto the provider of this service.

Direct marketing

If you have given us permission, we will store and use the personal data you have provided in order to inform you personally by email of our existing/new services, special offers or new products. Every time you receive such an email you have the opportunity to unsubscribe from any future emails. See the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each mailing.

Your rights

You have the right:

To view/obtain your own personal data.
To change your personal details if they contain inaccuracies.
To delete your own personal data or to have its use restricted.

Data Breaches

In line with GDPR, breaches will be reported to the Information Commissioner’s Office within 72 hours. In the case of a major breach affecting your data or data you have provided to us, we will contact you.
