Online MerlinVet Pet Shops
Frustrated at losing follow-up sales for toothpastes, supplements and other general sale items sold in your practice MerlinVet would like to offer you a FREE solution to this – your own practice-branded digital pet shop, delivered by MerlinVet.
- You view the available range of products through our online portal, Talon. Select the products to stock and apply any discounts to the sale price of these products for your customers.
- You are then provided with a MerlinVet Pet shop domain name, URL Link and QR code link to a practice-branded site which can be hosted on your practice website/social media pages etc.
- Direct your clients to the shop via social media posts, consultations in practice, emails, WhatsApp messages, posters and leaflets or other practice literature (MerlinVet will help with this).
- Once a client fills their ‘basket’ and makes their purchases, the products are delivered directly to the client’s address by next day DPD delivery (for orders made before 1pm, see Delivery Terms and Conditions for exclusions).
- MerlinVet will then provide a commission payment to the practice for every purchase made through their store! The more sales you make, the bigger the commission payment each month!
Health Plans
For just £29.99 + Vat each month, your practice can have as many unique health plans or treatment plans as required, all created and managed through our tailored portal, Talon.
Benefits include:
- No sign-up fees for you or your clients
- You choose what YOU want in your plans and how much to charge
- Instant alerts for cancellations and failed payments with live reporting on your Talon dashboard
- Easy access to support through the Talon message system
- Optional home delivery of prescription products
- Optional additional discounts on Vet Pet Shop products for your health plan clients.
- Add bespoke plans for special clients instantly at no additional cost
Treatment Plans
Treatment plans are like health plans, but for a chronic disease. The client pays a monthly fee in the same way, but the benefits included are for managing the disease.
For example, an osteoarthritis plan might include:
- Consult every 3 months
- Pain medication (could be sent via MerlinVet home delivery)
- Nutritional supplements (could be sent monthly via MerlinVet home delivery)
- 6-monthly blood tests
- Nurse weight clinic
Treatment plans can be a huge relief for clients with pets who are uninsured, but still want to be able to afford the best level of care for their pet.
MerlinVet Direct: Home Delivery
MerlinVet can send out prescription products directly to your clients.
These can be:
- Parasiticides as part of a health plan
- Chronic meds as part of a treatment plan
- One-off or short-term medications
Talon allows vets to complete a digital written prescription with scope for multiple delivery dates, which are then checked and fulfilled by our VMD registered warehouse.
Reports within Talon will remind you when a prescription is due to expire, and provide the option to easily repeat it.
NOTE: MerlinVet will not post cold, controlled or injectable products to clients (the prescription and dosage remain the responsibility of the prescribing vet at all times).
